Assessment for Learning Evaluation Workshop, Orkanger, 19-20.6.2012
The prototype of the Peer Learning Assessment System (PeLe), which HiST is developing in the Done-IT project, is ready for testing by external users in the fall 2012. 15 teachers and instructors, that have participated in the development and the first pilot testing in Norway and Sweden, have been invited to participate in a two day workshop in June.
2nd Scandinavian Mobile Learning Workshop, Østersund, 24-26.9.2012
HiST (Trondheim) and CFL (Soderhamn) are going to arrange the 2nd Scandinavian Mobile Learning Workshop in Østersund, Sweden during the period September 24-26, 2012. During this period teachers and instructors from Norway and Sweden gather in order to exchange experiences and elaborate on new pedagogical methods that utilize assessment for learning by use of state of the art online response technologies.
Demo at Welding Seminar, Trondheim, 10.5.2012
John B. Stav, Robin Støckert and Knut Bjørkli provided a demo of new activity based training methods during the one day welding seminar: "Trøndsk Sveisedag", May 10, 2012. This included usage of the welding simulator from the iQSim Leonardo da Vinci pilot project, in combination with the response system developed in the EduMecca KA3-ICT project. Both projects were completed at the end of the year 2010.
