Successful implementation of video network in Romania

The Norwegian Ambassador inspected the results from the Move-IT project at Monday 4.4.2011 in Tirgu Mures, Romania

The Move-IT project has builded several modern digital classrooms with digital blacboards, one auditorium, video laboratories, and 4 video rooms for exchange of education by use of real time two way audio and video in training. Several ICT managers, 47 teachers and more than 1200 students have been trained during the project period. The "Petrus Maior" University in Tirgu Mures, their 3 collaboration organizations in the Central and Western part of Romania, as well as any other training providers, may today provide flexible training solutions through one of the most advanced and modern digital training and learning infrastructures in Romania. The Ambassador tested the infrastructure and was very satisfied with the results that have been achieved during two years. It has been a close cooperation between the "Petrus Maior" University and HiST in Trondheim. The newspaper ZiDeZI has written several articles from the visit: the first page, an online article describes the visit of the Ambassador (in Romanian), and pictures from the meeeting with the Ambassador, 5.4.2011.
