Exchange of students and staff

  • 3 students from UNTZ (bachelor students) and 2 students from UNNS (master students) was chosen for a stay at HiST in April - May 2012 working on experimental parts of their student thesis. 3 visitors from Tuzla University staff and 2 visitors from Novi Sad University staff visited HiST for one week medio May 2012.   • 2 students from UNTZ (master students) and 2 students from UNNS (master students) was chosen for a stay at HiST in April - May 2013 working on experimental parts of their student thesis. 2 visitors from Tuzla University staff and 2 visitors from Novi Sad University staff visited HiST for ten days in early April 2013.     Høgskoleavisa, the twice a month magazine for the students and staff of the three college universities in middle Norway, HiST, HiNT and DMM, made an article in the paper as well as on the internet pages. The paper goes also to regional authorities and politicians – the Norwegian parliament representantatives from Middle Norway included. sites/histproject.no/files/Hogskoleavisa 180413.pdf 
  • 1 PhD- and 1 master student from UNTZ and 2 PhD students from UNNS was chosen for a stay at HiST in March - May 2014 working on experimental parts of their PhD-/Master thesis. One visitor from Tuzla University staff and one visitor from Novi Sad University staff visited HiST for one week each in May 2014.

  •  Project synergy: January - June 2013: 2 HiST students at UNNS internship - including 1 week at UNTZ. January - June 2014: 2 HiST students at UNNS internship - including 1 week at UNTZ. There are plans for 2 HiST internship students also from January to June 2015.

Triple heilix activities

  • A mapping of challenges and potentials of improvements in production technology and hygiene of the cooperating fruit and wild berry producers and processors in Tuzla region has been initiated by a previous survey and workshop including 22 participants outside university (Kick-off seminar).
  • Courses for industry in the Tuzla region at UNTZ 2012 September 18 and 19; 25 participants (Quality and food analyses; Practical activities of food analyses).
  • Courses for industry in the Tuzla region at UNTZ 2013 October 17 and 18; 25 participants (Food sensory analyses; Food product development. 
  • Establishment of Center of Knowledge Transfer in Tuzla:
    The EDUFOOD optimal goal is to make this a success before end of the project. A lot of work on planning and collecting/systemizing of information has been done ( like data bases on the needs in the regional food sector for knowledge transfer - and a tool to find the competent person in the shortest possible time for a specific job. - There is focus on planning and prioritizing for the last part of the project to make the center a success.
