Visit from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA) is responsible for the planning, construction and operation of the national and county road networks, vehicle inspection and requirements, driver training and licensing.

They visited the HiST stand at Online Educa in Berlin in December. During this international conference their attention for use of response technology in training and information sessions arose.

Last week Atle Røijen and Inger Sagemo from NPRA, visited Faculty of Technology in order to test the response technology that has been developed in the Lifelong Learning Programme projects EduMecca, Do-IT, Global SRS and Done-IT projects. The Student Response System got a lot of attention during the demo, as it facilitates the "one to many and many to one communication processes". The NPRA training division will start testing the SRS in a seminar for 50 contractors in Trondheim in February 2012.

NPRA are going to exploit the prototype of the Peer Learning Assessment System in the fall 2012.
