The Norwegian Public Roads Administration uses SRS for a two-day seminar

2012-02-21 - 2012-02-22

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA) used the student response system (SRS) for a two-day seminar with around 50 contractors on February 21-22. The SRS was used to probe background information (e.g. job position and job experience of the various members of the audience), and to collect feedback from the audience regarding type and mix of  seminar topics. Furthermore the SRS was used to run factual quizzes for gauging learning and comprehension.
SRS was successfully demonstrated during the first day of the seminar, and the participants found it really easy to use. Many speakers seemed to be inspired by this, and included the use of SRS in their presentation on the second day of the seminar.
The audience used a mix of iPods, their own handheld devices and smartphones to vote.

SRS 2.0, PELE 1.5, Eval 1.0 and iLike 1.0 are available for use.
