AV-training of personnel from Balkan


Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, East Sarajevo University and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade are going to start using video in distance education. This includes for instance exchange of lessons and remote supervision of students. During the period 27.2-1.3.2012 they visited HiST in order to learn how to use state of the art video technology as a flexible training tool in distance education settings.


Robin Støckert, Bogdan Voaidas and Knut Bjørkli provided the instructor training courses for use of video technology in education and training. They covered various technical set-up solutions, first line support solutions, design of modern digital classrooms, pedagogical challenges, bottlenecks and pitfalls in use of video in distance education and training, and exchange of experiences. Hands on training were a key element in the course. In addition they visited the new digital leanring laboratories at the Faculty of technology.

The picture at the top shows Dejan Jeremic from Sarajevo, Vojislav Novakovic from NTNU, Aleksandar Košarac from Sarajevo, Vladimir Mikovic and Vuk Adzic  from Belgrade, and Robin Støkert from HiST. The participants found the training and exchange of experiences with colleagues, very useful.


Robin Støckert and Bogdan Voaidas are going to visit Belgrade and Sarajevo in the spring, supporting the institutions when they start using the video equipment they have got from Norway.
