ISQ in Portugal has started to test the Student Response System (SRS). They have more than 1000 employees and provide training on 5 continents in a range of fields and disciplines. Their training department in Lisbon will function as the pilot testing location, and will make use of the SRS in a number of Vocational and Education courses. In order to facilitate this, HiST has translated the SRS into Portuguese.

Recently, 16 teachers, instructors, pedagogues and decision makers attended an SRS training session in Lisbon. This seminar focused on the methods that may be applicable for the use of the SRS, and included a number of hands on training sessions where the participants developed their own assignments and answered them by using the SRS.

The participants provided very enthusiastic and positive feedback related to how simple it is to use SRS. ISQ, the Technical University in Lisbon and a secondary school will now start testing the SRS. An ISQ team of teachers and their teacher-training department, will take part in this testing. The activity is lead by Catarina Miranda.
