A delegation of 22 representatives from 6 universities all over Russia are going to visit the DEEL research group at HiST in September. They are studying innovation processes in Sweden and Norway, and have contacted HiST to study development, use, and implementation of innovative teaching and training methods in higher education, and vocational education and training.

This includes studying carriers and initiators of innovative R&D pilot projects, and the organization of the innovation process at the local, regional and international level. They will gain insight into the higher educational system in Norway, and will receive demonstrations of new communication technologies, new online services, and new training methods. This includes examples of successfull exploitation activities where research results from use of mobile technology are implemented into new training frameworks at HiST, and spread to other universiteis and training providers in Europe. This is achieved in international projects like EuroPlast, Global SRS and Done-IT, as well as through the ongoing research collaboration between HiST and  Lomonusov Moscow State University, which is the largest university in Russia.
