SRS 2 - a product which works better than advertised!

Nearly 100 teachers and instructors from all over Norway are currently using the Student Response System (SRS 2) developed by HiST, and new users start testing and using it every week. The teachers and instructors work at vocational and education training institutions, high schools and universities.

Recently, staff at one of the universities described SRS in the following way:

"SRS - a product which works better than advertised".

What is SRS?
SRS is a voting system that handles one question at a time. It works on students’ own computers or handheld devices. The teachers create multiple-choice questions, and the results of the vote are immediately displayed. The SRS allows the teachers and instructors to interact with all the students - not just the clever bunch on the front row! The video below illustrates the potential.

SRS user experiences
The SRS is used successfully in small as well as large classes in a range of disciplines like mathematics, language training, nurse education, physics, pharmacology, social sciences, business and economy courses, and in a range of other fields. It is the concept of Response in 1-2-3 that attracts teachers and students - and the latter are keen to highlight that it is fun to use SRS in courses.

Turn your students' MOBILE DEVICES into immediate RESPONSE TOOLS. The video below illustrates what's in it for you as a teacher!

SRS 2.0, PELE 1.5, Eval 1.0 and iLike 1.0 are available for use.
