Snapshots from Online Educa Berlin 2012

The HiST team attended Online Educa Berlin (OEB) from 28-30.11. The online Student Response System (SRS) and the Peer Learning Assessment System attracted a lot of people, keeping the people at the stand busy during the whole conference. In addition, SRS was used to gather feedback from the audience at two workshops and two sessions of the conference. PELE was presented at the Friday afternoon instant feedback session.

OEB 2012 brought together over 2000 participants from more than 100 countries to explore the latest issues and research in technology-enhanced learning. Over 400 speakers from around the world examined the effects of the multitude of changes in the fields of technology and education. Technology asks us to innovate rapidly but how can we ensure quality, take advantage of possibilities and implement our ideas and plans sustainably? Under the theme ‘Reaching beyond tomorrow’, OEB explored these issues and reviewed the latest research and learning practices in both education and business.

OEB 2012 is the place where leading international e-learning manufacturers, suppliers and service providers present their latest products and services, a key networking event where high-level decision makers shaping the industry come together annually, and the largest international e-learning event for the education and public service sectors.

The pictures below show Roger Bergh, Tord Talmo, Audn Grøm and John B. Stav demonstrating response technologies at the HiST stand. Approx. 100 organizations from Europe, South-Amerika, Asia and Africa visited the stand, signing up for testing of the HiST response services for handheld devices.  HiST will be contacting the interested parties over the coming weeks.

SRS 2.0, PELE 1.5, Eval 1.0 and iLike 1.0 are available for use.
