6 schools in Serbia test new language services

The language services developed by the iLike project, is going to be tested in elementary-, primary-, secondary and high schools in Belgrade and in the town Gornji Milanovac in Serbia. The testing is coordinated by Kristina Radojicic (picture) from the Drinka Pavlovic school in Belgrade.

The new language services address grammar, and let students create their own structural and analytical language learning requirements by use of mobile technology. The learning methods encourage children and students to set diagnoses to a text in order to break down selected language themes, and demonstrate solutions that are the result of collective, creative peer learning problem solving processes that may include creative learning through immediate feedback from assessments.

The new language services let children and students play with words in order to investigate benefits and disadvantages when constructing sentences, thus understanding the logical structure of grammar.

The following schools are included in the test program:

  • Primary School Dragan Kovacevic, a school for children with special needs in Belgrade
  • Secondary schools Vuk Karadzic and Mihailo Petrovic Alas schools in Belgrade
