Hitra high school, which are located in the costal zone of Mid-Norway, wants to test and start using online response systems in their training programs. The school offers training in a range of disciplines, including vocational education and training. In order to support their team of teachers during the start up phase, HiST offered a dedicated instructor training course in use of the online Student Response System (SRS).

Language training teachers, math and science teachers, vocational education and training teachers, teachers teaching economy, as well as health care teachers attended the instructor training course in pedagogical usage of the student response system from HiST. The course consisted of a range of hands on sessions, where they investigated and explored effective usage of mobile technology in education and training.

More than 10 years ago, Hitra high school as one of the first schools in Mid-Norway, introduced and started to use "one laptop per student". Once more they are in the lead by introducing smart usage of mobile technology to every single student. All the 26 teachers that attended the course, signed up to test and start using SRS in their next training session.
